I was talking to my dad today about meat. (Yes, I know that’s a little weird. What can I say, we are meatetarians!) Matter of factly, I mentioned the yummy yak steak I ate in Tibet and the horse ribs generously prepared for us in a Kazakh home in Mongolia.
I had the thought, what a big life I have lived.
Yet for a good chunk of my life overseas, I have lived in a small space. One country, two cities, most of it in one neighborhood.
