Word Prompt: Breathe

I sensed it coming.  And yet still it was astounding, the way you all showed up so brave at The Grove.  We all took our fears out of hiding.  We shook them out into the light.  And many of us did so with trembling fingers and racing hearts.  But we did it.

And now?

Now, we’re breathing.  A bit freer and lighter.

Because we may not have anything figured out, but now we know that we are not alone.  It’s not just me.  It’s not just you.  We are all in this together.

This week we’re talking about life-giving rhythms, soul shaping practices.  Because those fears we’re all fighting?  They are life-sucking.  And I think we’re all ready for renewal.

So join us in the comments throughout the week.  And step into our vulnerability and shame discussion at Book Club on Tuesday.  Then I’ll see you at The Grove on Friday, where we’ll share our hearts, our words, our art on the prompt: “Breathe.”  I’m so looking forward to hearing what makes you breathe, what connects you to Him and gives you life.

It’s not too late to shake your fear out into the light at The Grove.

I so need this, simply to Breathe. Only yesterday I was practicing my old childbirth breathing as I was overcome with life’s worries. So, yeah, this is timely.

Love hearing that timing is ordained!  It is for me this week too.

yeah…I need this.  I have been out because things just got really intense in our ministry to the point that we are no longer with that ministry.  Talk about needing to breath!

Oh, wow.  Then praying deep breaths of renewal for you this week, Liz.

Very timely. I have been learning to do a lot of breathing, maybe learning to breath again, in recent times.
