We carry with us the Good News of Jesus to our neighbors and friends, the people we serve. But they do not worship or follow us. Our relationship with the sovereign God of the universe is not secondhand.

Are we feeding only off encounters others have with God? Or are we drawing near and seeking him for ourselves?

Are we leading others to encounter him firsthand too?

People will disappoint us. Leaders will fail. We run straight to our faithful Father who never changes.

Join us this week for this important topic! Share your stories of how God is meeting you right where you are. Be part of the conversation this week by commenting on blog and social media posts, or sharing your own thoughts with the hashtag #VelvetAshesSecondhand.
