Have You Seen? {July 25th, 2021}

Last Week’s Theme: Naming

He Names and Knows Our Losses by Jenny Erlingsson—”This wasn’t part of the cost I had considered. I never thought about how leaving would put me in the position to say goodbye to some much sooner than I expected.”

We’re Swimmers {Book Club} by Sarah Hilkemann—”Even in the direst of circumstances, we all want to be treated respectfully and given the ability to make our own choices.”

It’s Not Supposed to Be Like This by Emily Miller—”Don’t we all need that permission? Permission to acknowledge that this isn’t the way things are supposed to be?”

Naming Both by Maria Mullet—”I am becoming more and more familiar with the clunky nature of holding both, of having contrasting emotions at the very same time.”

And Now For Next Week

The theme is…

Hey, friend. How are you doing?

Really doing?

We are reaching across our virtual table with steaming mugs in hand, ready for a heart to heart.

There’s no pressure to have it all together in this space. We really do want to hear about the things that are making you smile, the reasons joy is bubbling up in your soul. We want to know what is currently frustrating you or churning in your mind when your brain won’t shut off.

Did naming something in your life and heart bring clarity after last week? Are the invitations you’ve sensed from the Lord bringing comfort or excitement in your life?

There’s room for it all this week. How are you, friend? We really do want to know.
