The Grove Word Prompt: Guilt

Psalm 38:4 My guilt overwhelms me—it is a burden too heavy to bear.

Do these words echo the cry of your heart?

Guilt over the things undone. The family we are leaving behind. The ways our children are affected by our choices. The moments when the heat overwhelms and we lash out when we should have loved.

What guilt burdens are you carrying, sisters?

Our posts this week will come from fellow travelers in this journey, women who understand and who are willing to be vulnerable and honest with you. Will you receive this as a gift to you, an invitation for you to do the same? You are welcome to respond through the comments, by linking up your thoughts on your own blogs at The Grove, and on Instagram with your images and words with the hashtag #VelvetAshesGuilt.

This community is a safe place to share the guilt that weighs heavy on you, to release those burdens to the arms of our loving Father and the care of your friends here.
