With my husband, I love to travel, explore, try out new tea rooms, and deer hunt.  I also love to read and am learning to cook in healthier ways, partly as a result of being gluten- and dairy-free.  My new hobby is painting furniture that I receive free on ‘freecycle’.  

We have been cross-cultural workers since the week after our honeymoon 30 yrs ago.  The past 23 of those in England.  In fact, we are dual citizens now (US and UK). We have 3 twenty-something children who are all working/studying in the USA.  We are trying to figure out this stage of parenting young adults.  Miss them like crazy, but enjoying benefits of the empty nest, too.  I work with international ladies, and it’s the most fulfilling ministry I’ve ever done (apart from raising our kids).  It’s way too fun to be called ‘work’.  

I love to see God’s hand in little things, am learning (so slowly) to trust in new ways, and it all brings me a new depth of joy.
