I’m just a girl trying to follow God and become who HE wants me to be. I am married to a Malagasy man and have a 1.5 year old son. I work at Growing the Nations Therapy Programmes in the administration and my husband is an assistant therapist. Our vision is to impact the lives of communities and individuals by making therapy and therapeutic services accessible to persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups who cannot access these services otherwise. Our current focus in Madagascar is to develop the profession of occupational therapy, as it does not yet exist here. Occupational therapy is one of the rehabilitation professions recognized by the World Health Organization. It enables people to overcome the barriers of life and disability and participate with maximum independence in meaningful activity, everyday life, and society.
