I’m an Indiana farm girl that by an ordained timeline has found myself in China a lot longer than I had originally planned. I went for a year and now have been with ELIC for 12 years. Back in 2003 I fell in love with China, its culture and its people. In 2006 I started my journey of falling in love with its language as well. My heart for this great nation continues to grow no matter where I am or what I’m doing. I just can’t seem to stop loving this country. What 10 years ago started as me trying to care for and encourage a friend of mine in her heart for the nations has now come full circle. That friend of mine is now supporting me and I’m supporting other teachers here in China by serving as a Teacher Care Specialist. I am so blessed to be a part of sowing in tears and reaping with songs of joy! From the soils of Indiana to the ripe fields of China… this is my story.
