Anika Ortiz is wife to Matt, mama to Cameron (13), Kaylee (11) and Gracie (2), and lives outside of Portland, Oregon. Right after their wedding in 2001, she and Matt resided in a hut in Kenya for several years, teaching and doing social work in the villages. She understands what it’s like to live overseas and loves sending unexpected care packages abroad. Her heart rests in the grandeur of nature and in the intimacy of a hug. She loves Jesus, speaking Swahili with her toddler and gliding on the ice.
