Joanna makes her home on the slopes of Mt. Meru in Tanzania. She wakes up at 5 am every morning to find silence before her four kids wake and shake the earth with their noise and to watch the light break through. She pretends to be a writer sometimes and you can find her thoughts every once in awhile at Omo Diaries.
