Rachel Zimmerman

Rachel K. Zimmerman is a cross-cultural worker, physical therapist, and most recently, writer. She worked for two (plus) years alongside a capable Haitian team to establish a community health center outside Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Her experiences in Haiti fuel who is she is today. A self-proclaimed ‘geographically confused’ individual with Texas plates, an Oklahoma license, and 40 Haitian stamps in her passport, Rachel currently resides in Indiana where she enjoys teaching yoga, getting fit alongside folks with Parkinson’s disease, and loving on cross-cultural workers as much as possible. She is a recovering perfectionist, yogi, lover of green juice, extrovert with excessive hand motions, and lover of people. You can read along at her blog, catch her on Facebook, or follow her on Instagram.
