The Velvet Ashes team is preparing for our 3rd in-person retreat in Italy this coming April. It is so special to be part of creating space for women who are serving all over the world to come rest, enjoy the beauty of Tuscany, and spend time with the Father.
We have two traditions that are part of blessing these women and I want to share about an opportunity for you to join in!
The first is a personalized goody bag for each woman who comes. We fill these with treats, books, a warm blanket or wrap (it gets chilly in the stone buildings up in the hills!), and other special things to let each woman know she is seen and loved.
Second, we get to end our retreat time visiting an olive oil press, learning about the process of making olive oil, and then celebrating all together with a delicious multi-course dinner. It’s a chance to savor and linger with one another as we remember what God has done throughout our time together.
