Regina
Regina was a 26-year-old adventure seeker when she accidentally moved to Zimbabwe. A loud laugher, she loves good books and spends her working hours with children from hard places as they tell their stories. She is wife to Nyasha and Mummy to two girls. Regina founded Refuge: Zimbabwe and uses her skills and experience to help caring adults understand trauma in order to bring hope and healing to the hearts of the children God entrusts them with. She trains around the world, though her focus is in Southern Africa. She is an adoption advocate, justice seeker, and pursuer of healing.
Alaina
My name is Alaina Shelton, and I am loudly passionate about providing education to students worldwide. The Lord began to develop this passion in me during college, however, frustrated my plans for years…and instead provided stateside experience, opportunity, and training that has allowed me to say YES to this call, and move to Bogotá, Colombia to pursue youth ministry as a school administrator at El Camino Academy.

I have served in Kazakhstan, Thailand, the US and as of March 2019 in Cyprus. I have been providing Member Care to workers and will continue that in Cyprus. The focus will be more on the spiritual health and formation of the workers as I provide A Lodging Place – a place of rest, spiritual retreats and counseling.
Amanda

Our family has been doing full time ministry since 2013. We lived and served in Tanzania for 4 years, then in Australia for 6 months. We’ve also served short-term in South Africa + Papua New Guinea. We come alongside fellow M*’s and/or organizations and put legs to their vision. We help fill the gaps, wrangle the details and strategize to make the vision into reality.
We aim to be a catalyst for transformation in our host country, leaving a legacy that has empowered nationals and changed lives through the love, grace, hope and freedom found in a relationship with Jesus.
We are currently on home assignment in the states rebuilding ourselves (self + soul care), our finances and our community as we search for our next ministry partnership.

Since 2013 God has allowed me to work in Southeast Asia as a graphic designer and communications “expert”. The rich culture and diversity of this region has taught me a lot and even though my home in Iowa, USA still ranks as the best place on earth – the islands on this side come in close second.
