Chelsea has dedicated her life to helping those in need. She has studied social work for both her undergraduate and masters, and has worked in the field for 2 years. During her time in social work, she has clearly seen the desperate need of humanity for a Savior, and the reality that true healing only comes through a personal relationship with Christ.
It is from this background, short term overseas trips, and other life experiences that she has chosen to follow the calling on her life to serve in full time overseas work. After completing Overland’s Advanced International Training in 2015 with her husband, Shane, the couple have committed to serving 2 years in Zambia.
Chelsea will be applying the skills, knowledge, and experience from her social work background in a Christ centered approach to help bring healing to the people in the Chipepo Chiefdom. She will share the love of Christ through her words and actions as she builds relationships with the women, and helps them to discover their value in Christ and life to its fullness in Him.
