I am from the Netherlands, and work as a nurse with Mercy Ships, in the Palliative Care program. In the past 7 years I have lived on the ship ‘Africa Mercy’ while it was in Sierra Leone, Madagascar, Benin and currently in Cameroon.
I re-entry’d after my time in Sierra Leone, which was quite hard. I love that there is a community of women who go through the same type of experiences.
