My family and I moved to Puerto Maldonado in 2014 to re-open a home for abused girls! For the past year we have been restoring the home, learning Spanish and settling in. Now we start the process of getting the open open to accept girls! While challenging, it’s also been so cool living here and experiencing a new culture and way of life. I’ve learned so much about Jesus and His love and I am so thankful that he called me to a life of Intercultural work!

Hola, my family is currently living in Asuncion, Paraguay where my husband is a teacher at Asuncion Christian Academy and I am the Interim General Director. We have two lovely ladies that are 8 and 11, one of which is in my husbands class. Living out faith is what brought us here 6 months ago and we strive daily to teach our children, students, teachers and staff that, although rough at times, living faithfully to partake in God’s plan is always a great plan!

My husband and I are continuing a decades long work in Slovakia, working with native Slovaks, Hungarians, and others as well as teams from the States to build relationships and teach English using the Bible as teaching material. I am currently 16 weeks pregnant with our first child. The adventure started 1 and a half years ago for us, and now a another one will begin!
