I married an MK who grew up in South Korea and have grown kids who grew up in California, Colorado, and Germany. I currently live in south coast UK serving our mission family in Europe. My husband and I love to explore the countryside on a silver steed (touring motorcycle – I ride pillion.) My son lives in California and my daughter and her family live in Kentucky. I have 4 grandchildren. I love hanging out with young adults. Nature, music, and good stories in film or books feed my soul. I like wearing aprons and filling a tea pot with my own special brew. My and my hubby of 34 years live in a small semi-detached named Pilgrims Rest.

I am already noticing that He has been at work in our city and our school campus. It’s humbling to learn a new language and culture, but I’m trusting that He will never stop giving me strength [and awesome teammates to learn alongside with].

I have been fulfilling a life’s dream for over 12 years now, living and working in a children’s residential center. I live in a dorm with 32 cute-patoots, little boys who are 4-8 years old. I’m from California and I came to Mozambique “you a year” and haven’t been able to leave yet!

We have just recently moved to Dhaka because of my husbands work and our families passion to love people and follow what God has for us. We have three kids (3, 5, and 7) and are enjoying the new adventure we are on. This is a new season for us and I want to be attentive to what God is inviting me and my family to. The previous season was one of letting go and grieving a place (Central Asia) we called home for many years and was very close to all of our hearts. Before married life and motherhood I was involved in relief and development work in a variety of locations around the world.
