I am the Communications and Data Coordinator for an organization that exists to serve the needs of the M body at work in Honduras, by promoting unity among M’s as well as caring for the spiritual and emotion health of our members. I also fix computers for the staff at the school that my husband works at, and am a stay-at-home mom for our 2 kids. I have lived and served in Honduras since graduating college in 2002.

My husband and I are a full time career M’s. We’ve been working with schools, camps and fellowships for more than twenty years in the Northeast of the great country of Brazil. I’m the proud mother of three TCK/MK guys who were mostly homeschooled. I teach ESL classes on the side to help with finances. I enjoy all things Facebook and Twitter. I love to write and plan to publish a book someday on some crazy, random topic.

I have been living in Frankfurt for just a short time, still learning German. I continue to love being married – 35 years this year! My favorite role in life is helping my man. My five grandchildren make me happy! FaceTime is a gift. Having three daughters is for me, (most times) like having three best friends. I am so thankful to discover that a community of others who also live in exciting places other than their home lands, have come together online. I look forward to interacting with you!

Marie Foote

Half-Italian, half-Filipina, third-culture kid who grew up in the Philippines & Southern California. Last known residence: Denver, CO. Now: Part-time rebel (we’re being honest, right?). Full-time wife to an incredible & godly entrepreneur & homeschooling momma to two adopted kids in San José, Costa Rica. Working with a team to work in coffee and assorted businesses, to help prepare Latino workers moving to unreached areas. I write. I cook. I make music. I listen to and pray with women who are hurting – been there, done that, not really ever done grieving. Stranger? What’s that? Life is an adventure with Jesus!

Our dream for living in Latin America and growing a business to employ locals and improve living standards began before our marriage.  Five years of God gradually moving us in this direction and 3 kiddos later, we moved to Nicaragua.  Now after a year and a half here, we’ve started a programming business, added another baby, and are striving to keep close to God and keep walking along with Him in this neat adventure of life.

When God called me to Bangladesh, I had to look it up on a map to find out where it was. My husband and I have been living and serving here with Food for the Hungry (FH) for nearly 7 years. I provide leadership training to empower, equip, and mentor national leaders in the South Asia and Southeast Asia region to reach their God-given potential.
