I’m a creative, who often has giftings in gab as well as organization, and isn’t afraid to try something new whether be in taste or discussion. Community is messy, but I’m grateful for all that comes from being in it and growing through it with the Father’s grace and truth. It’s funny because these descriptions I’ve already written are kind of vague, but once you get to know me I’m pretty much an open book in all the right ways. (at least I think so, so I hope you will too!)

Currently teaching grade 4 in the “Kingdom of Wonder”, Cambodia. I have been here for one year and am here for at least another year. It has been one of the most challenging years of my life, but not without many moments of joy and peace. I am thankful for the community that I’ve found here, and for the way God led me here for this season of my life.

Currently in the Pacific Northwest. Have spent the last fifteen years living overseas- primarily in East Asia. I’m a wife, mama, nurse, teacher, scripture engagement enthusiast, and grateful child of the Living God!
Bayta

Bayta has spent most of her adult life overseas – 15 years in the UK with shorter stints in France and Russia. Four years in, re-entry to her “passport country” of Germany is still a bit rocky at times but life in the very international city of Berlin is certainly never dull! Being involved in equipping and coaching people as they serve cross-culturally is what she is most passionate about, along with building relationships with expats from around the world who also call Berlin home.

My family and I are long term cross-cultural workers with the Evangelical Covenant Church serving in Ecuador, South America. I am a Nurse Practitioner and my hubby is a pastor and business man. We are working in partnership with the local and national church in Ecuador in starting homes for at-risk children and medical clinics. The first home is in the construction process and the clinic is built! This has been a dream and call we feel God has given us for almost 15 years and it is amazing to see Him working here in Ecuador. We have 2 children and 1 on the way, due in September so life is never dull! I love sports, especially Ohio State football, baking and drinking coffee with friends.

I’m a cross-cultural worker newly serving in Lilongwe, Malawi. I was in DRC for 29 years and raised 3 daughters there. My current desire is to learn to speak Chichewa in order to minister to women and children here. I’m married to a pastoral cross-cultural serving husband. I love the Lord and my greatest desire is to be in a growing, deepening, vibrant relationship with him, which also attracts others to the Lord.

Living and serving in the third city in six years, full-time language study and English-teaching experience, now devoted to raising littles who love Him and others. Mommyhood is hard and heavy and thrilling every moment, so I am so thankful for other mom-friends and sisters!
