I am, most importantly, a Christ follower. He has led me to be a wife of a wonderful man that has led me closer to Christ and has equipped me to be the mother of 4 children – now mostly grown. He led the 6 of us to Guatemala in 2013 to join a work for special needs children and their families. Now 5 of us remain in Guatemala. Even before I even knew the man who would become my husband the Lord placed a desire in my heart to be a stay-at-home mom. My husband shared that desire for me and I have been blessed with this life which means a varying job description with each new day! For a bit, after moving to a foreign field, I forgot that passion and was disappointed that the Lord didn’t give me “more admirable” jobs! It didn’t take long for Him to convince my heart that, even though my location had changed, my calling had not! So………..here I am, having completed the homeschooling of our children, waiting on the Lord to guide me through each day, simply available for whatever He has for me!
