Kate Greenman
Kate and her husband Billy are currently serving in Peru. Born and raised in Southeastern Michigan, they now call Lima, Peru home.
The organization they work with works with local fellowships to help children, young people and families know God through His Word. The organization is currently working in six country-wide outreaches: a Bible use program; abandoned boys; the hearing impaired; a growing schools and camping program where staff teach Christian values; and an innovative medical outreach located in the Amazon basin.
Billy is the director of the residential work comprised of 7 homes for abandoned and at-risk children. Kate is the director of International Relations and is responsible for organizing the 20+ volunteer teams that visit Peru each year, monthly sponsorship program, international communication and the organization’s web presence.

I am an outgoing 23-year-old serving in Paraguay. This is my second year as an ESL teacher at New Horizon Methodist School in Lambaré. This year I teach preschool through fifth grade. I am also very involved in local and national events with the local fellowship.
I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in May 2013, where I studied elementary education, Spanish, and teaching ESL.
I would love to connect with more women serving overseas, especially those in Latin America or those serving as teachers! 🙂

My husband and I “retired” to the field 4 years ago. We are hospitality directors on the base where we live and we host teams of students and adults who come from the US and Canada to work in sites our company has around the community. We have 7 children and 11 grandchildren who live in the US. Being away from them is a tug on our hearts but we know we are where the Lord called us to be and we love what we do!
