Zahra D.

I met my husband while serving in Thailand, and once we were married we moved to his home country to continue his work in translation and literacy.  Once I complete my linguistics training I will join the work happening in this beautiful and difficult country.

Ginny

I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and get to travel to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos regularly for my job with an international business!

Stephani Cramer

I’ve been teaching and studying in China for 18 years. I live with my husband, who is teaching English in a university here, and our two girls who are 7 1/2 and 6 years old. I homeschool the girls and teach English classes at our university as well. I get to study the Good Stuff with several young ladies and I mentor a couple of them as well.

Hannah Cowen

My name is Hannah Cowen. I’m a full time volunteer worker helping to pioneer a base in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I love Jesus, books, kids, art, and tea and seeing a difference in the lives of people around me. This is my first full year on the field.

Marguerite

I work in healthcare, and fostering of university students, here with my husband and 2 children.

I grew up in Southeast Texas, have always lived in the southeast of America (no matter where I’ve moved) and currently live with my husband and our 3-year old son and 6-month old daughter in Southeast Asia. Prior to moving overseas, I was a first grade teacher and had very few skills in the kitchen. Now I’m one of those hip, stay-at-home moms who can make some pretty awesome homemade enchiladas.

Christa

Pushing 9 years living in the same city in Northeast China. We came with three children at that time ages 3, 1 and 4 months. What an experience that was! 🙂 We have enjoyed learning about our host country, making it our home and making many friends and “family”.

With backgrounds in education and teaching ministries, we serve and are passionate about shepherding the hearts of students and empowering fellow educators in East Africa. We are excited about the opportunities Christ gives us to encourage local leaders, parents, teachers and students using the scriptures as our guide. Starting off in 2009 with summer trips to Kipkarren, we moved permanently to Kenya in 2011 as full time workers.

Committed to developing young people and educators who can think critically and biblically to solve the problems their communities are facing, we love to share our passion for Jesus! We serve together through an “Education in Christ” teacher training program to mentor and equip African teachers.
