Studying this language and building relationships along with living life with my husband and three kids.  In a period of thriving, after a long recovery from just surviving.  Learning to live in rhythms of joy & grace.

I live and teach English at a Russian school in UlaanBaatar, Mongolia.  My favorite sport is ice skating, so Mongolian winters and I get along great!

Living and working in Cambodia with my husband. Currently (and always?) in transition with arms flailing at times. Learning how to enjoy the ride and be grateful in it. So very grateful.

I teach at an International Christian school here in Nigeria, where I have the pleasure of working with some pretty awesome middle school students. I love my little rural village.

I teach English as a second language in the Arabian Peninsula. I love working with Arab Muslim women and children. I have been teaching at my current school for the past three years, coming directly from college. This June I will be moving back to the United States to earn my Master’s degree in teaching English as a second language. My hope is after earning my Master’s, I will move back to the Arabian Peninsula to learn Arabic and continue to teach.

Mary

I’m teaching English in a local preschool.

I’ve lived in Europe nearly half of my 40 years, and now teach English in Poland. I have loved this experience, and feel huge extremes of sadness and excitement as I plan a new chapter of re-entry in the US later this summer.

My husband and I are serving on a small team with a national couple. We are supporting their work planting fellowships and fostering new believers among Roma (Gypsies) and Hungarians in the Transylvania region of Romania. Newly married and one of us newly overseas (me!), we’re still adjusting to life together and life on the field.

I am a MK who grew up in Honduras and have continued to live internationally in China, Japan and now Saudi Arabia – first as an M and now as an international school teacher. I am finding it dry in the desert and so appreciate VA! Anyone else out there in Riaydh?

Trish E.

Grew up in upstate NY and have lived overseas for 16 years. Have four wonderful kids. I and my husband have worked in fellowship planting as well as developing relationships through English.
