My husband and I are currently in language school here in Campinas. We will eventually move to a different part of the country where my husband will be a pilot. We have two sons, and one on the way!
This is our first assignment as M’s, and we’re five months into our first term, so everything is new and different. I’m so glad to be part of the Velvet Ashes community.

I live in the Netherlands, married to a wonderful Dutch man with our dual-citizen little guy! I’ve worked in a local international school, as well as in a school in Ukraine for M children and others. Currently we are involved in promoting volunteer work abroad with our denomination, and I am maintaining cross-cultural friendships and staying home with our munchkin.

My husband and I along with five boys are part of a ch-planting team working through health and education ministries to give people access to the Truth. We partner very closely with a group of nationals which brings many challenges, but even more blessings. We first left our home country in 2008 and are now in our second term of service.

I teach at an international school and am part of a large community of expats. Life is never dull, and I love investing in the lives of TCKs!

I live and work on Lingira Island, located outside of the mainland city of Jinja and one of hundreds of islands on Lake Victoria. I am privileged to serve with a diverse group of people (Ugandans and Americans) who have a common vision of seeing Jesus Christ glorified in the islands. I oversee a student sponsorship program and teach at the local island secondary school. I am passionate about discipleship and communications!

I’m married to my high school sweetheart and we are expecting our 4th child this summer, though one of our babies is with Jesus now. We are just getting a church planting team started here in Southern Romania and are praying for teammates!

I’m a wife of one, mother of 2 and grandmother of 4, who at the age of 50 found myself going overseas. What a roller-coaster, from Alaska to the tropics.

After almost 3 years in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, we just recently returned stateside. We are currently resting in Washington State for a season, before heading off to northern Manhattan to love and serve the large Dominican population there.
