What keeps you awake at night?
For women serving cross-culturally, fear can take many forms: fear of failure, loneliness, danger, burnout, disappointing others, or not knowing what comes next. We may fear for our children, our finances, our visas, our communities—or wonder whether staying or leaving is the more faithful choice.
This month, we’re making space to name the fears we don’t always talk about. Because courage isn’t the absence of fear. Sometimes courage looks like taking the next faithful step while fear is still there.
What might your fear be revealing about what you love, what you value, or what you’re trying so hard to protect? And where might God meet you—not by removing the fear, but by giving you enough light for the next step?
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. Psalm 56:3 (NIV)
