He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8 ESV)
This command feels simple, but the injustice we are witnesses to every day feels insurmountable.
We know we have a just God. Yet we often find ourselves discouraged, overwhelmed, and confused in the face of injustice. What do we do? What is actually helpful as the outsider?
There are many questions and we definitely aren’t looking for all the answers as we wrestle together with this topic. But here in the Velvet Ashes community, we want to be a place where we can have the hard and important conversations. So let’s approach this topic with grace for one another and vulnerability to share how we are seeking to be people of justice, kindness, and humility in a world full of oppression, hatred, and arrogance.
