In this week after the Velvet Ashes retreat, we specifically chose the word “Hope.”
We know from our time in Luke 24, God wants us to be able to express our but we had hoped. To share with him and trusted friends what our hopes are.
God met us powerfully during the retreat on individual and group levels and we want to lean into the hope he fanned in our hearts. We want to be a community that recognizes in the small, daily ways that God is for us even when it may not feel that way.
Part of communing with each other is holding onto hope. If you are not in a place to hope, others are. This is the beauty of community. And if you are floating high from the ways God met you, we cheer you on!
Faith, Hope, and Love. A chord of three strands is not easily broken.
We look forward to meeting at The Grove on Thursday 6 p.m. EST and hearing how “hope” has been fed or challenged this week in you.
