We’ve lost a lot this year. The collective grief washing over the world is held in each of our stories in a way we haven’t experienced so broadly before.
Looking ahead to the holidays feels heavy. It feels confusing- do we try to gather with teammates and friends or not? Do we try to do ministry activities like we have in the past? Will this year feel even more lonely than normal?
We know the holidays can be especially challenging for those of us serving cross-culturally, and we don’t take that lightly.
This week, we are excited to talk about the things we are holding on to, anchoring us in the upheaval and heartache of 2020. We are preparing our hearts and inviting you to be part of a community journey over the coming weeks.
So, come find out more as we share in the blog posts and on social media! You can use the hashtag #VelvetAshesTheThingsWeKeep.
