I am from the Netherlands, and work as a nurse with Mercy Ships, in the Palliative Care program. In the past 7 years I have lived on the ship ‘Africa Mercy’ while it was in Sierra Leone, Madagascar, Benin and currently in Cameroon.
I re-entry’d after my time in Sierra Leone, which was quite hard. I love that there is a community of women who go through the same type of experiences.

My name is Gracia and I work at an International school right outside of Mexico City! I love the adventure of learning about our Savior from a different perspective. Coffee, knitting, crocheting, and reading are a few of the things I love, but Christ is by far the most important.

I’m happily married to the Guatemalan of my dreams and together we live in the department of Jalapa. I am a student of international development and my current work is providing security, education, and essential necessities to children, teenagers, and mothers with children who have been abused or abandoned.

It’s a shame there’s no option for Europe/Asia/Middle East, because that’s where I am. The place where the cultures of the world collide. I’m here with my 4 little ones who are each the spitting image of my husband. I’m trying to be obedient to the call to just be here. No grand schemes. Waiting to see what He wants to do. I’ve been waiting for 10 years. But when the “It” comes, I know it’s going to be glorious.
