What subject can we spend hours on?
If only the answer that came to mind related to ministry or our own spiritual formation. Instead . . .
The actual answer?
Food.
Part of me wants to apologize. A bit embarrassed by how the stomach leads more than other organs. But then I remember all the focus on manna, how much space was given in the law to food, how Jesus’ first miracle involved drink. Apparently God loves to talk about food too.
So, this week, as image bearers of the Ultimate Cook in the Kitchen, the Best Baker, and the One who Loves Flavors we are going to savor the topic of food.
